A one, a two, a helluva hullabaloo

This may be my first and only Tulane football fandom post, but oh my, what an unexpected Cotton Bowl finish.

Down 45-30 with about four minutes left …

The Green Wave put together a three-play drive, managed to get a safety after a fluke kickoff fumble, and then converted two fourth downs on their way to a winning touchdown with seven seconds left.

Great quote from the coach after the game: “Expectations without effort is just entitlement.” What a fun finish to a completely surprising season.
